My Tea Journey (in pictures)

A pictorial capture of one part of my tea journey.

Charleston Tea Plantation
Charleston Tea Plantation
What a beautiful view of the tea plant once you enter the plantation. Rows upon rows of the Camellia Sinensis Bush.

Did you know that all tea whether it is white, green, oolong, pu'erh or black comes from the same plant which is known as Camellia Sinensis?
Camellia Sinensis Bud
Upon closer inspection, you can see many of the buds on the Camellia Sinensis tea bush.

The way that the leaves are plucked can often determine the final outcome of the tea.

There's no pesticides here!
There's no pesticides here!
Charleston Tea Plantation is proudly against pesticides and nearly walking into this eight legged creature clearly demonstrates that.
Camellia Sinensis Flower
The bud can open into this beautiful flower. Isn't it beautiful?
